It has a lot of intense graphic sounds (explosions, gun fire, knife throwing sound effects…) to accompany the plentiful action scenes. It helped keep me alert as I listened to this audio book while driving home from Elko, NV to Carson City, NV. If this is your first DEATHLANDS story you will not understand the interactions of the characters and the back story given through out will not be complete enough to alleviate the confusion.
