Recommends it for: young artists
The most amazing thing about this book is that the author was 7 years old when she wrote it. Her earnest advice, drawn examples, and genuine talent at drawing comics (especially expressions and compositional elements -- "too tight," "too blank" -- that you wouldn't expect someone to catch on to until they're older) make this a worthwhile read for aspiring comics artists, young ones in particular. Alexa's talking to you!
