I was conflicted as to what to rate this book. It started off great, but the last few chapters kind of lost my interest because I got really tired. All things considered, I feel okay with a rating of three stars. This book wasn't easy to read. But I learned a lot, and gained a greater understanding of and appreciation for paleontology as a science. There's a wealth of good information here, if you're willing to slog through the exposition.
