An ok story. Not entirely believable. Find an abandoned baby, get married to someone you just met within weeks, adopt the baby.

It's pretty obvious that this novel is one of Lisa Jackson's older ones. She's developed a lot as an author since this one was published. It is an engrossing story, has engaging characters, and moves as a good pace; but the writing style is not as smooth and polished as her more recent work. Still is was a very good read.

An abandoned baby found in Chandra's barn and the story of who left it there. Dallas O'Rouke is the ER doctor on duty who takes care of the infant at the hospital and how he gets in tangled with baby John Doe and the woman who found him. Chandra has grown to love the baby and has named him JD and she has a growing attraction for the doctor too. But who does the baby belong to?

This book was predictable from the middle of the first chapter. I expected so much more from Lisa Jackson. The reason I rated it "okay" was because I needed a break from all the suspense from Shiver and Lost Souls. Ready to get back with Never Die Alone.

Million Dollar Baby

Yeah it was a sappy love story with some good sex. But in the end I finished every word and was in tears at the end.
Not my kinda book, but enjoyed it. MERRY CHRISTMAS

This was a really good heartwarming story. It had all the goodies, great characters, personal heartache, and new love and family. Dallas and Chandra were two people who swore off love, only to fall in love with each other and with the baby they hoped to adopt.

More our a romance.

Easy to read . At first they had a love hate relationship. Nobody knew Who would get the baby boy

What an implausible and contrived plot. The writing style redeems it somewhat, as the language and description can be surprisingly strong. But give this a pass.

Did not like the book.

I guess I just don't like this type f fiction. THe characters were not believable. The plot was obvious. I don't know why I even finished reading it.
