"Jason and Kyra" is a romantic novel of the high basketball star (Jason Vincent). The guy with the cool friends and the cool girlfriend. Even though on the inside he's smart he would never tell his crew that. Then there's Kyra the girl with all A's and B's with a 4.0 GPA. Not that many friends and doesn't hang around many people. But she seems to capture the stars attention somehow.

People who want to read a hish school ove story
This book is about a popular boy named Jason who is partnered up with smart unknown girl named Kyra in a class project. At first they did not get along, but they worked out their problem with each other and did great with their project. Jason is one of the most popular students in his school. Kyra is more of a non-popular student. They begin working on a science fair project and they decide to go over Jason's house to do the work. Jason then beign to "hit" on Kyra. he was like he never seen her in school before but she was so beautiful. Kyra started thinking that Jason loved her, so to feel the passion back, she began engaging in somewhat sexual behavior witb jason. She had done it to make herself feel good.

Friends and People who are in love
From this book I learned that you can't always go off of what somebody says.Don't jump to conclusions. It's okay to step out of your comfort zone because if you do, you might just find something new, fun, and interesting that you like.Believe in yourself and others. Think of what you are going to say before you say it so that you won't hurt anyone's feelings.

this book was really good. it was emotional but at the same time it was drama. it taught me that it dowsnt matter how you look or act to get someone to like you. it also taught me that just because your popular doesnt mean you can always have it your way.

I liked this book because it addresses a demographic that is not well represented in children’s/teens books. It is a realistic story of urban (Detroit) teens who are doing exceptionally well.

The characters and dialog are totally unrealistic in this teen romance. The plot was slow moving and there didn’t seem to be much of a conflict. Over all, eh.

yes it's sappy and at times predictable, but the two love-struck teens, Jason and Kyra, feel real and their story will move any hopeless romantic.

This book is really good for teenagers in high school because a lot of young teens could relate to the characters in the story.

This is one of my Books for the Beast (Enoch Pratt's YA lit conference) reads. Well done romance set in the Detroit area.
