Summary: Bright colors and designs fill this boardbook made to appeal to babies.

Review: The bright colors will delight infants and they will likely enjoy gnawing on the sturdy pages of this boardbook as well. The illustrations are quite intense with numerous tiny images, but could be useful for teaching shape vocabulary such as heart, star, square, etc.

I checked out several b/w and pattern books for Quentin, but this one was always his favorite. He was drawn to the black & white patterns with pops of color, and would frequently pull it closer. Definitely a keeper for new babies.

My baby loves to stare at the bold patterns in this book, and I think it's pretty cool to look at too. No text, just high contrast pictures, to stimulate baby's vision/interest.
