Review of the first manga series 1-10:
This manga is not terrible, let’s just say that. But it has a lot of problems.
The art is beautiful and I think the art itself is where the author’s talent lies most heavily, not plotting. The plots of each volume…pretty laughable to even try to identify them with the idea of ‘plot.’ The situations are so see through you know well before anything goes down just how it all will end.

Bad news is going down for the gang as the school's protection committee discover that Tsukune is actually human and the rule of when a human's in roled in a school filled with monster must be put to death. The worse part of this is Moka knew he was a human the whole time and if anyone who was with him msut be put to death as well that includes his friends, too. How will the gang get this sitation before Tsukune is a goner? You'll have to read this issue to find out yourself.
I feel like this was much better than volumes one and 2 for some reason, which is odd since they're basically the same exact thing except with different bad guys that 'need to learn their place' I think it's because this volume was funnier and showed how strong their friendships are even though he's human :D

Having figured out what was happening to the students that went missing, Tsukune, Moka and the crew are dealing with new issues. The disgraced art teacher has joined forces with a Youko (spirit fox) and is looking for revenge on Tsukune, what happens when Moka gives Tsukune some of her blood, and the dangers of private tutoring.

I think Rosario + Vampire is finally hitting it's stride. It's not quite as formulaic as it was in the first two volumes. There's a little bit of variety being added. Plus, I like vampire Tsukune.
Story progression is really nice. It flows more smoothly without repeating the SAME thing over and over again, which is nice in the genre.
The new developments were nice touches. Good to know that a certain character (Werewolf newspaper editor) is not merely one-dimensional. I also liked the returning villain. Though the ending of more than one battle was not ultimately resolved by the god-like vampiric powers, I am unsure about where the author is headed. Onto Volume 4! It promises to be exciting! Monsters get summer vacation.....who knew?
The series is definitely improving. Tsukune turns into a badass!

its a funny book base on an average boy who gets in a school of monsters but hes the only human and if the rest find out hes died. The only reason he stays is becuz of moka whos a hot girl(vampire) She may look nice on the outside but when taken off her rosario she becomes a butt kickin vampire. Together Tuskine and Moka fight for survival,eachother,and their love

The series is staying interesting even though it is the same situation over and over again of Moka protecting Tsukune, hopefully it will get more complex so it doesn't get boring. It's a good manga though.
Tsukune and Moka fight a spirit fox and an evil lamia in this volume - Fun story, gorgeous artwork. I like how Moka's bite turns Tsukune into a vampire, giving him super-powers for a few minutes.

Akihisa Ikeda (池田晃久) is a manga artist/manga-ka best known for the manga series Rosario + Vampire (ロザリオとバンパイア Rosario to Vampire). He's been a huge fan of vampires and monsters since he was a little kid. He says one of the perks of being a manga artist is being able to go for walks during the day when everybody else is stuck in the office.
