In this story, Annie and her bunny Snowball are playing with Annie’s cousin Henry and his dog Mudge in the backyard. Suddenly, a hummingbird appears and lands on Annie’s petunias. Annie and Henry then decide that they need to find a way to get more hummingbirds to come to their garden. Finally they come to the conclusion that they must turn their garden into a pink wonderland. Annie and Henry discover a hummingbird in her garden and want to attract more. They notice the hummingbirds like her pink petunias, and since she doesn't have any more allowance money to buy more, they grab lots of pink things from her room and place them outside to try to "advertise" to the hummingbirds. This is a fun book (especially for girls) to go along with the "Henry and Mudge" series and our girls enjoy these books.
