More for the newly diagnosed. Very thorough, and also has a recent publishing date (2009) and includes info about current clinical trials that are still ongoing.

Although this book was completely incorrect in stating a spinal tap may cause "some minor discomfort." That's a lie. It hurts like hell and you must fight all your natural instincts to not kick the doctor sticking a needle in your back.

A good basic book on MS - easy to read and understand. I would recommend this to anyone who has recently been diagnosed as a good starting point to help them learn the basics and better understand the disease and all that comes (and goes) with it.

This is a book that belongs on all MS suffers' bookshelves. It's a book that I would have appreciated even before I was diagnosed. Superb. It's organized and thorough and a resource with websites and organizations to help the distraught or disoriented. I bought the book today.
