This is a terrific novel of Key West in present day. You get a feel for the local politics, as well as the plot twist of Fidel Castro's death and representatives of Raul Castro and John Negroponte negotiating an end to "hostilities." Very fun to read whlie in Key West, especially if you have an interest in local affairs.
