Much of the actual reference material in this book (contact names and addresses for practice centers) is probably out of date by now. However, the real value to Morreale's work is that is provides a clear overview of the major schools of Buddhims in America. For example, if you want a better understanding of the differences between Theravada and Zen Buddhism, read this book.
