This has all the great stuff we've come to love from Laxness...plus, it has some history of the Mormon faith and the pilgrimages/missions that take our hero across oceans and mountains.

Iceland + Mormons should equal something amazing, but I was disappointed. The story is steady and understated, exactly the kind of story I don't like that much.
