The exhibit is a disappointment. The catalogue benefits from the artist profiles, which for the most part contain photos and descriptions of superior pieces not seen in the show. I'm certain that the artists here aren't to blame. Trying to review the catalogue divorced from the show doesn't help it's rank, as it's filled with deplorable essays that constantly meander between straining to tie the work together thematically (really forcing the construction of explanations.....so contrived), and More...

This exhibition was truly disappointing for someone who went to get inspired. There were lots of new experimental art works dealing with eco-friendly and green concepts but.. artistically very few were presented.

Only Bienial I ever attended. It was fun. I remember the highlights being the video work.
