This is a book about the history and the future of airplanes. There are a lot of different types of airplanes. For instance, the F-16 Falcon and the Blackbird. The F-16 Falcon is a bomb dropping war airplane and the Blackbird is a spy plane and flies up to 2,193 mph! I would recommend this book to people who like history and non-fiction books. Did you know that the first airplane was made by two brothers in 1903 called the Kitty Hawk?
I bought this one for my niece, because she looks a little like the protagonist and they have similar names. Both my nieces like this one, probably because it's so absurd.
Angela inadvertently, at the age of five, steals an airplane. With help from the tower she manages to land... sorta... well, they say any landing you walk away from is a good landing!
At the end, we're told that she grew up to become an airplane pilot, a fitting career.

Great read aloud. A little on the short side for a Robert Munsch.

If you've never heard Robert Munsch read one of his stories, well, that's a shame. But you can correct that. And be amused in the process. Kids will love it, and so will anyone else. Robert Munsch has this terrifically distinctive, gruff, grating voice that counterpoints his awesome humor. Hilarious. Make sure to get the accompanying audio--these books were meant to be read--by Robert Munsch.
