As much as I like Twin Peaks, I really wanted to like this book. Unfortunately, it made me realize that some of the things I've enjoyed about Twin Peaks are nothing but run-around for run-around's sake. It basically confirmed some of the little voices flitting around in the back of my head... the ones that said maybe I don't really like Twin Peaks as much as I've always professed.

Twin Peaks and David Lynch aficionados
What could be better than a group of academics trying to figure out the meaning behind one of David Lynch's masterpieces, Twin Peaks? This book absolutely rocks my world.

Some of these approaches are fascinating while others stall out at asinin, much like academics themselves. The episode guide and scene breakdowns are invaluable.

Skimmed this when I bought it in high school but I'd like to approach it again after studying various critical theories in college.

Interesting, but the overblown academic interpretations get to be a bit much...
