G-Spot is a good book to read. Its about a girl named Juicy knew a big time drug dealer from around her way when she only 14 yrs old. When her grandmother died when she was 17 her life changed. It was a lot of betrayal, killing and drama.
The book is called G-Spot because a big time drug dealer named G owned a club and everybody knew who he was and what is was about. He took in Juicy and her little brother in. After awhile he brought his son back to New York and that’s when the betra...more

The sensuousness of the cover image first captured my attention. Then I read the caption that described the book as an "...urban erotic tale", and I knew the book would have characters that represented a side of black America that was rarely written about and I was intrigued.

From the drug dealing, brutal beating and killing falling n and out of love. I love every single part of the book, which is called G-Spot. You know how people say they loved the book but some parts was corny no but this book from the beginning to the end of the story I just couldn’t put it down. G made me fall in love with this book. I can mad one minute then happy the other in disbelief of what just happened. The main character, G traits and the love&brake up.

I liked this book but it also irritated me. Unfortunately, I felt like Juicy was her own worst enemy. Yes G was abusive and controlling and she was afraid of him but come on you sleep with his son! In his house! She let another guy feel her up in his club! Sorry but I just didn't connect with the characters because they all had unlikeable traits.
G was just a plain no good rotten guy.
Juicy seemed more interested in money, sex and nice things than being treated right.

This was my first time reading an Urban Lit book, and I'm not too sure if I entirely have a taste for this genre. I hate to base it off of this book only, but I guess that's another story.
Juicy is this nineteen year old girl who's controlled and forced to be submissive in both public and in the bedroom by her notorious lover, G. G, well known in the city for getting what he wants when he wants, is sexually depriving her to the point where she starts to fight back, forcing Juicy to le...more

My old co-worker loves this whole "urban lit" genre and has read about a million of these shitty books. She gave me the five "best" to read and although I don't have anything against an occasionally trashy book, I have to say that based the five I've read (this being the only one I could remember) the whole Urban lit genre is entirely worthless.
With books like this (and adults who read Harry Potter) I'm a bit conflicted. Surely anything that encourages people ...more

Goodreads doesn't do "half" and "quarters" so let me clarify that I am giving this book three and a half stars and let me tell you why.
The story was good. Adrenaline pumped is guaranteed but the writing is one step above bad. For example, the whole book is written from the voice of Juicy, the protagonist, who speaks like she is Harlem hood: her grammar is terrible at times and curses just as a well as a sailor. Nothing is wrong with that, except for those moments wh...more

"G-Spot: An Urban Erotic Tale" by Noire has definitely got your number...too hot to handle and too cold to hold, I could hardly put this book down as I was so caught up...Juicy, who this story is centers around, is thirsty. Thirsty for attention, love, lust and some good ol' fashion sex. She wants to get all her fantasies filled, completed and then some, but quickly realizes that this won't happen with her boyfriend, Granite McKay.

This is my favorite book of all times. Its about a girl named juicy “Mo” Stanfield and her brother jimmy “jo”. Ever since they remember there life has been nothing but horrible. There mother was a crack head and lost her life by stealing crack from a man who worked for big Tony who at the time was the biggest drug dealer in Harlem. Then there grandmother took them in and took care of the them the best she cou...more

First book I read by Noire after reading this book I can't wait to read Thug-A-Licious and Candy Licker. Juicy and her brother was being taken care of by there grandmother after there ho-mother was killed. They grandmother died and a man name Granite better known as G was very well known in the hood for his G-Spot club, and dope selling but, no one step on his back. G took Juicy in as his girl and everyone knew not to touch G's woman. Juicy thought she was going to have it all with G the money a...more
This book was soooo good... a page turner it was juicy and full of D-R-A-M-A, this book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time threw. I was happy for her when she fell in love with G's son but I also knew she was playing with fire...I hated what G did to Juicy but I was glad she made it out alive...I was damn near in tears with this book, The G-Spot will take you on a ride that you would have never guessed..
It's a must read. A suspenseful page turner. My brother even read it. He finished it in one day. All I can say is Granite McKay is something else. I was standing up on my sofa reading this book. With every page I became even excited, shocked, amused and just plain out done. G-Spot is one of those you can't stop talking about. One that you recommend to everyone especially those who can keep an open mind.

The main character in this story is 17 year old girl named Juicy. She meets a drug dealer name Gino B.K.A "G" who is twice her age. Throughout the book he beats her and degrades her, but towards the end he is defeated.
The theme of the book is domestic violence, and the denial of a bad situation.
I can relate this book to present day America even though it is urban fiction. I can do this because it is apparent that we have a problem with drugs. Growing up in a "...more

This is the second book by Noire that I’ve read and after “Candy Licker” “G-Spot” is very predictable. Similar plot, abusive relationship, drugs, prostitution, rape, murder. The book is very dark and disturbing. I would probably pick-up another book by the author; I just hope that storyline will be different.
This book is about a girl who dated a man name G, who own his own spot called G- SPot. He would make her do all types of wrong things. When he does like the way she do things he would make her give her body away and have sex with the men that worked at the club..HE did her so wrong>>You should check this book out, you will love it!
When I finished this novel I had to just sit and marinade on my reading experience! Noire reaches way down and grabs you from the bottom of your gut in this one. Its raw, gritty, sadistic, heartbreaking, sexy, and triumphant all in one! Do yourself a favor and add this one to your list to read, YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY, unless you're squeemish! IT IS NOT FOR THE PRUDE IN YOU!
this book is cool but then its like weird. its like understandable 'cause we know the lifestyle that juicy was supposed 2 live in. but then a big time man claims her as his girl and then she gets all happied up not knowing what awaited for her with that man.
at a young age i read this book i was like 12 but i was able to read and understand it and it taught me how to carry my self besides my moms and the rest of my family. but i will say this book was very good and even at a young age i still enjoyed this book.
As much as I am not a fan of urban (extremely urban) literature, this was actually okay. I mean, the writing itself was only okay but I felt that the human emotion was captured well...I felt a great deal of what the characters were going through.
The story of a young african american woman, doing what she fels she has to do to survive. Her boyfriend is a jealous drug dealer her abuses her, verbally, physically, and sexually. A twisted and unexpected ending. A definite page turner!
OMG! OMG! This book is a must read!Let me tell ya why you have to read this book.Noire Will take your imagination on a ride that will have you turning the page just to see what happen to the characters in the plot. Here is a another reason why you should get this book.Juicy is a is the girlfriend of one of the biggest drug dealers in Harlem Granite Mckay has harlem, and most of new York on lock down.Granite has a club call the G-Spot where ever man can fulfil his sexual desires.Well Juicy has...more
when i read this book i couldnt put this book down it was so good and so interesting. Isaw my cousin reading this book and she would look all sad when she read this book so i asked her if i can read it
urban erotica is definetly right, i thought zane was raunchy till i read Noire, this book had lots of drama and sex and exemplified hood life to the fullest. but it was good though.
Actually I read this twice because I didn't recognize the title but I really loved this story! Poor Juicy... I don't think I could have put up with what she did just to be "taken care of"
This book was beyond awesome. It's gritty and kept me on the edge the entire time I was reading it. I stayed up until three in the morning reading this book....I just couldn't put it down.
It was a cool book if you like that kind of thing. I felt like it could have been more "street" But the main character was kept away from all the good stuff. Either way, it was OK to me.
