An enjoyable slice of 80s occult hokum that picks up exactly where "The Final Conflict" left off. Better written than it needs to be, you can practically hear Jerry Goldsmith's Oscar winning score kick in every time another bizarre murder takes place. Speaking of murders, this book's loaded with 'em! The body count is impressive, and the whole thing builds to a downbeat, apocalyptic climax involving Biblical prophecy, the Middle East and atomic weapons. Giving birth out of your arse... ouch.

Pretty forgettable other than that bit.

One of those movie-related books similar to a novelization you pick up occasionally at a flea market for a quarter. In this case, there hasn't been an Omen IV yet, and the re-make of The Omen probably put this franchaise in the basement for at least another decade. So. I'll have to settle for this instead of another sequel.

This one starts out with an amazing adherence to Omen 1 and Omen III (events in Omen II are discretely ignored as were those in Planet of the Apes II and Exorcist II). Same c

Not a great book if I were to be honest x

A step down from the other novelizations. Mostly because this novel was never made into a movie or from a movie. I understood the idea that Damien would have created another vessel for himself in the event of his death after what he did in the third movie. I did like the ending which settled the loose end from the third movie/novel. C

Very quick read. True to the spirit of the original Omen movies with multiple deaths that occur in gruesome or disturbing means; would be a good sequel to the Omen movie series. This time Damien Thorn has been dead for several years and it is found out he may have had a covert son. He tries to rise to power

What I took most from this book was: how does cow shit end up on the wheel of an aeroplane, and would you be bothered if you were stuck to that wheel as it came in to land?

And something about the end of the world.

This was actually a really good book. Basically Damien is reborn since his soul wasn't destroyed at the end of the 3rd book and he continues to bring about Armageddon. A good read if your a fan of the Omen!
