I'm bound to like any book about Brett Favre, but I was a bit disappointed it was a bind up of all the SI articles about him, and some articles were repeated in the special SI edition that I gave to my dad. Didn't actually read the whole thing, but looked through most of it while in the airport bookstore. It has awesome photos and great examples of fans in their truest form - covered in snow watching the superbowl on a tiny TV in the parking lot of lambeau field, their wacky outfits and true dedication to the best team ever. Oh yeah and a bunch of stuff about Favre, the BEST FOOTBALL PLAYER EVER.
Hmmm. A bit slap-dash. Pretty pictures and anecdotes, but not much of substance. Farve is alternately portrayed as a tough-as-nails NFL star, and a *real guy*, but there's not much effort at showing you what he's really like. If it were fiction, I'd say there's no character development. :p
