It is interesting to flip through this eight years after publication. There is plenty of information here that can help librarians, teachers, parents, and even students find and describe appealing YA books. Yet I'm stunned by how this list of 101 titles has aged: what was once 'radical' is now mainstream(Tangerine and Wringer and Holes), what was once new has become quaint (Virtual War: The Virtual War Chronologs--Book 1 and Burning Up and The Taking of Room 114: A Hostage Drama in Poems).
