Decent read, although the author accepted the folklore of this story without further investigation. Apparently there are no historical facts supporting Sybil Ludington's ride to call out the militia, despite quite a few historians' attempts to uncover them. I would think that if you're going to write the story of Sybil Ludington you would perform the due diligence to either corroborate or disqualify the legend and determine if this is history or folklore.
