recommends it for:
anyone who takes on driving in Japan.
This got me around all over the island(s) from 2003-2005. A must have if you want to take the back roads and not stay on the toll roads. My trip from Akita-shi to Okayama-shi cost $700 in tolls - if I didn't have this book it would have been almost double! good times!
