A great historical insight into the period of time in which Newton was active in scientific communities. Full of illustrations and easy-to-read segments, this book is perfect for those wanting to get some background of Newton's famous discoveries including the refraction of light and universal gravitation. Suitable for non-scientists. Scientists - don't expect any mathematical proofs or in-depth descriptions of Newton's experiments.
Great book, full of all kinds of interesting information. And the pictures are to die for. A truly wonderful read for anyone interested in Newton.
Interesting but very concise book on Newtons life and work. Beautifully illustrated.
