Every child looks to their parent(s) to fix things, just like Louie did in this story. Little Louie has been carrying his stuffed animal goose, Rosie, everywhere with him and has had his parents to help him fix her. This story is very relatable and can teach children that sometimes they have to learn how to fix things on their own. Although the story does not have a large plot, the ending lesson is one that is important for children to learn.

Sometimes beloved toys can be mended and sometimes....Louie's Goose by H.M. Ehrlich subtlely explains to a child why it is important to take care of precious things and treat them with respect, especially when you don't want to lose them.
A surprising fix is made to help Rosie, the Goose. Mom and Dad are happy when Louie figures out how to help Rosie.
