Then he saw Amanda Boone's sparkling azure eyes and the tough, steely outlaw couldn't get her out of his mind. An innocent beauty like her would never get involved with a lawbreaking man like him. November 2016 reread: still am so in love with Moss and his Mandy! Each reread draws me in tightly. Now that it's on my kindle, I have pages after passages after pages highlighted. So much good!!!

This book is another one of my top favs that will always have a home on my keeper shelf.

I absolutely adored Mandy and Moss's story - even if a few times my being outside the story made me see things they couldn't and make me want to knock them both out and grrrr at them! :) But I think that's why I

This book is one that I would never part with. The character, Moss Tucker is all man. He is vulnerable, torn, lost, lonely, rugged and I imagine extremely handsome. He risks everything for the woman that he loves. I have read this book 54 times. I laugh and cry in all the same places and from this book I believe that I have learned that if you are lucky, you can find someone who will love you with all of their being for the rest of your life.

This review is of “Lawless Love” by Rosanne Bittner.

The Story: Part #1: At the beginning of the book, we meet the heroine of the book, Amanda Boone, 22. Amanda is making a trip from New York-where she was raised in an orphanage-to San Francisco, California by train to become a teacher at a mission school there. Among the other passengers on the train is Moses “Moss” Tucker, 38, the hero of the book.Unlike Amanda, who is as pure as snow, Moss, is, well, less than that. Amanda and Moss meet and fa

This was a really great read. Twists and turns I never expected came up in the novel. I really like Moss and Amanda. They were a great pairing. I also loved how the author handled their tragedies. I wish the h/h would have spent more time together in the novel, but the story was so good, I can't hold it against the author. What a great read.

This is without a doubt one of the best Western Romance novels of all time, written by one of the best authors of all time. The heart-wrenching story of two unlikely strangers who meet on a train, and how thier lives become entangled together is both gripping and compelling. Roseanne Bittner 's characters are so real and the way she describes life on the western frontier makes you seem like your a part of her story. The heart warming story of Moss Tucker and you g Amanda Boone is one that once y ...more

Lawless Love is such a beautiful and inspirational love story. Rosanne Bittner never ceases to amaze me with her brilliant writing. Her ability to weave a true spiritual aspect into her books is a true gift. I fell in love with Moses and Amanda, their love and courage they shared and overcame together when faced with harrowing difficulty. This is another Bittner book that will live with me forever.

For those of you who have not yet read my books, my stories are generally set in the American West of the 1800's and feature vividly-described, historically accurate settings that span the US from Missouri to California, from Canada to Mexico. Many of my books portray the poignant history of our Native Americans, and though the characters are my own, I use real historical locations and events in a ...more

“Moss, you—you look wonderful!” Amanda told him, wondering if her eyes were giving away her feelings. Her emotions were now more confused than ever. Sitting across from her was not only a man she already knew to be brave and skillful, a man of strength and experience, but also a very, very handsome man, who she suspected was also very lonely.” 0 likes
