This book is pornography for anyone with interest in succulents like sedum, chicks & hens, rock plants, cacti, yucca, etc. There is general growing advice, including types of soil, varieties of plants for various climates, watering strategies, and container gardening, which was not terribly in-depth but good enough. I'm trying to familiarize myself more with hardy succulents, mostly sedum, before we start building a green roof (on the chicken coop... not the house /yet). I'm planning on spending...more

The pictures are nearly all labeled with plant information, and the pictures themselves are just gorgeous throughout! That should be a requirement of all garden books in my opinion - and this one delivers if you have any interest in succulents at all.

A beautiful book, I just wish it had more information. Specifically, a section on diagnosing disease/problems would have been great.
