based on the praise given him by Susan Hill in her book, Howards End is on the Landing, I was thrilled to find a copy of this book at the local library. However, once opening and reading through the book, I found that one person's praise is another person's recoil. This poetry does lend itself to children's writing as Causley also did. But it is divorced from modern poetry and I could not stomach much of it.
