Laura Esquivel, author of the best-selling Like Water for Chocolate, sets aside her fiction writing to explore the role of emotions in our lives through this inquisitive and entertaining book. She delves into such questions as why we live in a time where depression and stress rule over all, or why we're constantly obsessed with being politically correct.
