Opening Line:"To say Jessie Mathew's pulse was jacked was an understatement."

Well, those Wild Riders certainly know how to show a girl a good time now don't they? RIDING TEMPTATION is the second instalment from the erotic Wild Riders series and while I didn't enjoy it as much as Riding Wild (book #1) once I was able to suspend belief with the somewhat cheesy storyline and just go along for the (ahem) ride this was a pretty good read.

Jaci Burton's writing is easy, fast paced, fun, ultra steamy an

Not bad. As a matter of fact, pretty good. It's just that I had a little problem with the hero. This guy was one of those heroes that thought he wasn't good enough for the heroine, that he would only end up hurting her (literally, in his case), etc., etc.... It didn't matter that she constantly assured him that she wanted him, was willing to take a chance on him, believed in him, loved him...this guy was just trying to be too darn noble; he wanted to save the heroine from the type of person he t ...more

This was a pretty good read. I think I could have gone for the five stars but there was one major flaw in this book that just continues to get me riled up.

Its the hero you see. This was one of those heroes that thought he wasn't good enough for the girl (because we haven't seen that done enough times), that he would only end up hurting her because his fathers abusive past toward woman. This one is number two in the Wild Riders series. Riding Temptation lived up to my expectations as a fast, hot, and easy read. I was interested in learning more about Jessie when we met her in Riding Wild. She’d been taken in by the Wild Riders as a teen and they pretty much saved her life. Diaz (don’t you love that name?) has had feelings for Jessie since she was a young girl, but has suppressed them. He came from an abusive father, and he fears his anger issues will lead him to physically hurt ...more
5 stars – Romantic Suspense/Erotica

Jaci Burton's Wild Riders is a fun and sexy erotica series with a great mix of action, humor, suspense, and scorching hot romance. The Wild Riders are a super secret undercover government agency made up of ex-thieves turned good guys/gals, who ride bikes and drive muscle cars. Riding Temptation is the second book in the series and features sexy Wild Riders Diaz and Jessie on an undercover assignment to infiltrate a biker gang suspected of selling arms to surviv

I got a bit of a surprise when I read the first book in Jaci Burton’s Wild Riders series, so I went into this one with the right expectations, and I wasn’t disappointed. Although I don’t think it quite had the level of heat as Riding Wild, I liked this one better – probably in part because the dialogue was far more natural.

The Wild Riders are a team (or gang) of Government special operatives, made up of ex-thieves and problem children who work hardcore undercover missions (gee, as I’m typing thi

Okay, I'm loving this new series! I'm not even a motorcycle girl, but I do love tough alpha males who are suffering on the know the type...the ones who need a good, hot woman to bring out their best side? These are the men of Wild Riders. There was a TON of hot hot hot sex and hot men. The story really follows one main story line, so no additional relationships in there for fun. However, I didn't find myself missing it at all since I was so wrapped up in the main characters. I thin ...more
This is the third Wild Riders book I have read so far and so far, it's my favorite. I will admit that I have a penchant for Hispanic characters, so the cover did catch my eye, but this book was just freaking HOT from beginning to end. And it had a great plot! I'm starting to get over my reaction to General Grange Lee's name (anyone else having a hard time getting the car from the Dukes of Hazzard out of their mind?) and starting to adjust to the whole set-up of the Wild Riders. We first meet Jes ...more

Scrumptiously Sexy-- 4.5stars actually

Another wonderful installment in the Riding Wild series and this time out we look a little closer at the devastating Diaz Delgado as he is forced to sacrifice his body to Jessie Matthews to keep America free. These hot agents enjoy even hotter sex as they break open cases that the average law enforcement office can’t get close enough to break. So scrumptiously sexy! Jessie does her darnedest to rid herself of a pesky problem as she goes on her first assignme

Riding Temptation is the second book of Wild Riders series by Jaci Burton. While the first book is somewhat tolerable, this one is very frustrating mainly because of the main characters. Jess is the kid sister of the group, way back when she was only 15, and now she is 23 and ready for her first undercover assignment. She is excited and couldn't be happier when she found out that she will be teaming up with Diaz, the one man she

I liked Jessie in the first book of the series so I was really glad to learn more about her. I have a bit of a love/hate feeling towards Diaz. I've read lots of romance novels in my time but this has to be the first in many moons where I wished that I could knock some sense into a character. He was a tortured soul that needed to get a clue. I seem to be on a kick of reading novels where the male characters have a very difficult time acknowledging that I woman can take care of herself and knows h ...more

WOW!! That is all I can say about this book. It was as good as the first book in this series. I am now going to wait patiently until April when the next book comes out.

I am a sucker for a strong Alpha male with a soft side he is afraid to show. I love a strong female character who is dead set on bringing out that softer side. I love the fireworks that explode when these two finally get together. This is a really good book set within a group of Harley riding bad boys turned government agents. Li

So this book more than lived up to its predecessor. We don't see much of Lily or Mac, there's mention of them but not much of it. I think it said they were fiancés? Anyway, in this book we get to focus on Diaz and Jessie. We all met Jessie in the first book and I thought she was awesome! Especially the way the author created her, full of spunk and attitude, with just a hint of sass. A good girl friend for Lily to hang out with.

Not bad installement of the Wild Riders series. I love the fact that both Diaz and Jessie ride's rare to get a biker book where the female doesn't always ride bitch. Jessie was the sexually aggressive one here and I'm not sure how I feel about that. One major turn on with alpha bikers is that they are always in charge and the initiators of sex. I just got frustrated that Diaz kept rejecting Jessie.

Up next is Spencer...should be pretty steamy

Obviously a hot read. But it didn't capture my interest quite as much as the first book.

Slightly repetitive, I found Diaz rather irritating, if I was Jessie I would have got fed up and told him to feck off!

Still, I will read the rest of the series. ; )
OK, I really wasn't into this one. Story felt a bit stale to me, I wasn't a huge fan of Jessie or of Diaz, and the steam factor just didn't do anything for me. In fact, despite the public sex scene, it all seemed a bit too vanilla.

I enjoyed this book more than any other book in the series. Jessie gets her very first assignment with Diaz and Spencer. Diaz isn't happy about Jessie on assignment but Jessie refuse to let Diaz and his moods affect her when she knows just how to get to him. She has always wanted Diaz for more than a friend and this is her chance to make him see her as more than the girl who grew up around them. Diaz can't resist once their relationship has to seem real in order to work their case and as much as ...more

I didn't like this one as much as the first. I liked Jessie. She goes after what she wants, she's smart and is no shrinking violet. She is fully capable to standing up for herself. So it was a disappointment she was paired with a character who kept referring to her as a kid and kept questioning her abilities. Diaz was too overprotective, possessive, and jealous all at different points in the book. He'd get upset and accuse Jess of "flirting," while what was Spence doing the whole ti

Riding Temptation was such a huge disappointment for me I'm afraid.... I mean after all the high praise I've heard from numerous sources of how great an author Jaci Burton is and after reading the premise for Riding Temptation I was beyond certain that this book was exactly the right one for me. I couldn't be more mistaken I'm afraid...

Where should I start with what went wrong with this book? Let's just start with the obvious focus of this story on the sex scenes. Yeah,

Riding Temptation lives up to its series name as it takes the reader on a wild ride filled with danger, intrigue and a very sexy love story. The plot revolves around the Wild Rider agents attending a bike rally, infiltrating a bike gang by going through the gang's initiation all with the dangerous mission of busting an illegal arms deal. This part of the story was interesting and unpredictable as I was never quite su

I knew what I was getting into this time around (unlike when I first started the series) and thoroughly enjoyed this story of Diaz and Jessie. Jessie caught my interest in the first novel of the Wild Riders series so getting her story was fantastic. She's a little innocent and a lot sassy yet I never once found her annoying or stupid, which is a big plus for characterization.

While I thought I might find Diaz annoying in his uncertainty of self regarding being in a relationship, I found that Bur

It took me three weeks to read this book, when normally a book of this length would not have taken me three days to read. There was nothing about this book that compelled me to pick it up again after each read.

The first problem? The characters were not believable. After awhile I started hoping that jessie would give up on Diaz and go after Crush. But noooo, everytime Diaz pushed her away, here come Jessie marching up a total glutton for punishment. And Diaz, he had more excuses than the book ha
