He no likey grammer and stuff. This are big bookybook and only short storywory. You not likey this review - then avoid this book like the plague

In the beginning I thought I wouldn't like this book, and it took me a while to get properly into it. I didn't like the dogspeak, the Scottish dreariness really grated on me and I didn't like his pretentious way of cutting sentences up. But it was alright, in the end. I like that it was fast-paced - stuff happened, and he didn't spend chapters and chapters "delving" into it like some writers are wont to do. And it was interesting, about something different, a book I'd never read had I More...

Fabulous! Made me smile at recognition of doggy-speak, laugh and cry. A great story well-told xxx

I read it on an ereader and there were so many typos I was very distracted from the story and couldn't really get into it. So it's got two stars for now, but I might try to read it again and see if it's any better free of typos.
