I find it to be slow and uninteresting. I have spoken with a few people who have read the series and they have said it is slow, but it does pick up later and that the rest of series is really good. This series is absolutely full of great characters. The books are all quick, fun, adventerous reads, so it's easy to breeze through the whole quintet.
