This is one of those childrens books that transcends the childrens genre. It is written expertly. The story itself may go along the same lines as many stories before and after, but it is still a fantastic story that I would be proud to make a Christmas tradition in my home.
One of my all-time favorite Christmas stories! This one needs to be read every year to anyone who will listen (a group which has diminished in size in direct correlation with my insistence to read it aloud!).
