overall it is a good book for basic information on food and their nutrients. i found that most of the information did not go deep into explaining the physiological path that the nutrients take to affect the body. I also felt that it is hard to come up with that many food combinations because each food combination has a purpose and i think everyone wants to be healthy so if each person combine food for several purposes he or she going to end up eating a lot. pretty good basic info, except the food combining strategies were pretty new and informative.
Pretty interesting read. Found it difficult to come up with a way to incorporate all or most of the food synergy ideas into my diet. You almost have to pick and choose what you would hope to avoid or improve (heart disease, cancer, PMS, etc) in order to take advantage of the diet plans.
