While it was very interesting to hear the author read his own works, it was also difficult to follow while driving to and from work. I would very much like to have had the poems in front of me to follow along, or even better to have read them recently so as to follow along better. The reading was clear, but the poems are hard to follow while just listening.

His body of work encompasses more than 900 poems, several plays and essays, numerous drawings, sketches, and paintings, as well as two novels.
