i love auntie lynda!
she really shares simple stories in a genius way. there's more to her stories than it seems at first glance. i could read this one again!

I've said it before: Lynda Barry's strips, notably the Freddie Stories among them, are the great American novel. Screw you DeLillo and Dos Passos! Hurray!

What I liked about this book: chaotic drawings, kids dealing with this messed up world and mental illness, el fagtastico.

Blubbo's story is heartbreaking. Freddie is a friend. Fried baloney sandwhiches!
