In a complete contrast to the other books in this series, this story is told from the perspective of the humans, leaving out the feeling that the story was written with horses in mind. If you were to dive deeply into coming up with reasons for this, you could probably get away with saying that the gradual decline of horse perspective reflects the gradual taming of Dragon and the other horses over the span of the books, but I found the contrast in storytelling a little too sharp even to follow th...more
