Half of these poems are truly beautiful. The others seem to teeter on the platforms of their abstract style, never moving fluidly. Water, Mother is my favorite poem in the book. In it, water is the conduit for a connection to her mother and to all mothers - the idea of mother. The poem is dreamlike and surreal. There is wit and longing intertwined in a simple, yet effective weave of language.

Many of her other poems are as enjoyable. Enter a world of exhibits in these poems and More...
