this book was BANGIN!!! I give a lot of props to the main character in this book because she pulled of a lot of schemes and backstabbing plans to get money. AND LOTS OFF IT. But the only thing about this book is that many things backfired and she didnt find real love. She pretended to be in love and catered to her man (was was old n sick) in order to get herself a fortune. But she did what she had to do.
I learned that Allison Hobbs is a very talented writer...however, this is the 2nd book I've read by her in the past month that has no real point and no climax that I was able to find. Due to that, I didn't like the book at all. I was intrigued in the beginning because I actually thought it was going somewhere. Once I got halfway thru, I realized it wasn't and couldn't wait to be done with it.
I loved the book! The turn of events are something I would could never even dream of! I started collecting her other books after I read this one.
This was one of those rare books where I really wanted the main character to get punched in the face. Milan was smart and just when I thought they had her she used her quick thinking to get out. There were a lot of parts in this book that made me cringe and I consider myself pretty open minded. I should have known when I saw "Zane Presents" on the cover that this was going to be on and popping.
This book was okay just took to long to get to the plot of the story
The ending to this book threw me for a loop. I can't wait for Allison's next book.
This book was ok, not exactly what I expected, but I love her work!
