Great read, especially while sight-seeing in Southeastern Utah. It is a compilation of several wild west cowboys. Some stories were first-hand accounts of people who knew or witnessed bank/train robberies.
Folklore rather than history, but still pleasurable reading, especially if you've spent time in southeastern Utah.
Good stories on Butch, Elzy, and the rest of the Wild Bunch. My favorite part is the Castle Gate Holdup. I always think about it when I drive to Price. I want to explore Thompson and more of the area along the Green River north of town.
I have been fascinated by the life and Western US environment that Butch Cassidy grew up in.
