Not that I'm going any time soon, but it's best to be prepared. I disagreed with the author - she seems to think you can't find any croissants even close to authentic outside France. Au contrair! I can name two places in Seattle off the top of my head that make very good croissants. True, I've never tasted one in France, but I've tasted ones made by French-trained bakers, so I think it's the same.
