My Thoughts:

I did not want to put this book down, which is saying something for a reread. I feel that as much as I loved the first three books, I can see the storyline coming together in a lovely way, and I can imagine that Ms. Feehan is as excited at writing these books as I am a reading them.

Jack--
Jack is hardcore and dark. I loved him. I think that he was authentic. I can imagine with his tragic family past, he would go down that path. What I appreciated was that f

I really, really enjoyed this book! It's my favorite in the series so far, and Jack is just too yummy for words. :)

Jack was a very dark and tortured hero. A true "killing machine", he really didn't feel any remorse for the lives he took. None whatsoever. Anyone who dared to threaten him, someone he loved or something he believed in, deserved to die. It was that simple. He had a code of honor of his own, one that hardly anyone understood. People respected him, but no one liked him - except his br

Conspiracy Game is the Ghostwalker story of Briony and Jack.

The first time I read the back cover of this book, I was totally bummed. Who cares about Jack? He’s just another military badass that just so happens to NOT be any of the other yummy male characters who have been introduced into this series.

Nonetheless, Christine Feehan did write this novel and it is a piece of one of my all time favorite series ever. A must read!

Jack is an elite sniper (aren’t they all?) who has been taken prisoner by

Another great addition to Christine Feehan’s Ghostwalker Series and once again – I LOVED IT! I can’t think of another series that I have enjoyed as much as this one. This is book #4 and as yet, I don’t have a favorite. Still loving them all!

Dr. Peter Whitney began his experiments years ago with orphaned infants or very young girls he had purchased for his use in psychic and physical enhancement. Later, he expanded with a desire to develop a superior soldier, a weapon using these same enhan

4.5 stars. Wow!! Despite some minor bugs, this is the BEST of the GhostWalkers so far, IMO. Great blend of action-suspense and romance-relationship. It didn't have the sappy feel some of Feehan's books develop. In some high-action survival sequences, it felt almost like I was reading Linda Howard. I loved the movement in the plot, the pacing was good, there wasn't so much sex bogging it down (but there are at lea

Conspiracy Game is book 4 in Christine Feehan's Ghostwalker Series - books about a group of physically and psychically enhanced soldiers. Twin brothers Jack and Ken Norton are Ghostwalkers. When Ken is captured while on assignment in Africa, Jack leads a team in on a rescue mission. Both men are brutally tortured by their captors, but Jack manages to get Ken to safety before being captured himself. While trying to escape, Jack discovers that an old friend and ex-Navy Seal is in Africa performing ...more

I think this was my favorite Ghostwalker yet. Jack Norton and his twin brother Ken were stoic soldiers until Briony came into their lives. The changes were really enjoyable. Briony was a strong when she needed to be and she acquiesced when she needed to. She brought a balance to Jack and Ken's relationship, and she helped them see themselves in a new light in terms of comparing themselves to their father.

The writing of this series is very consistent and is well paced. I never felt bored, nor con

I absolutely loved the fourth installment of the GW series. In the second book of this series, we met Jack Norton and he was described as fierce, lethal, completely devoid of emotion and essentially a killing machine. He's the epitome of an alpha male. But with the heroine, Briony... She made him feel. She brought out all these emotions within him and she gave him things he'd never expected to have in his life. The love of a woman and a (view spoiler) ...more

Confession: Sometimes, I pick up books on book stands in libraries, at Barnes and Noble, etc. I give them a quick scan/skim read, a technique in which I read beginning chapter(s), predict plot action, flip through to juicy parts and gloss over the end. (BTW...Anyone else really good at gauging plot points because you know the formula already ? (LOL)

Anyway, I wasn't sure about this series. I love Feehan, but I am picky about my PNR genre, so in trying out her Drake Sisters series, I found it was

This is my all time favourite Ghostwalker book. I read this book so often, it’s a bit sad. But it really is one of my all time favourite books! I just love the story between Jack and Briony and their relationship. It’s so well written and thought out. It flows along with the rest of the series and can work as a standalone story.

I have to admit that I am a total fan of the GhostWalkers. Completely captivated by them. This one is no exception. The difference between this installment and the previous three is that while Ryland, Nico and Gator suffer from what was done to them by Dr. Whitney, Jack and his twin brother Ken's wounds go much farther back than that. And it is these wounds that must be overcome, all while protecting themselves from an increasingly deranged Whitney. A very good addition to the series.

Book #4 in GhostWalker series and when Jack Norton meets Briony things get hot fast. Both have similar powers. Nice book. Lots of action, dash of suspense with well developed characters that turn from horrible to really nice by the end of the book.

Conspiracy Game was nothing but spectacular and like nothing i've read before. It was Thrilling, Captivating, and Sexy. I didn't read the back, I didn't want to know who the characters would be until I read it. And whoa, I was so surprised!

The last person I expected to be reading about was Jack Norton and his twin brother Ken. They were not on Rylands team and that threw me for a loop. A wild and exciting loop at that. Also, this story began very diffrent from the previous books and I couldn't

“Conspiracy Game” is the book that, for me, changed the Ghostwalker series from an occasional library rental, to a must-own set of books. In this fourth installment, we shift gears away from our original Ghostwalker unit, to focus on one of the SEAL Ghostwalkers, Jack Norton. We met him very briefly in Night Game, but here his story is fleshed out.

The book opens with Jack held prisoner in the Congo. He was taken captive during a rescue mission for his twin brother Ken. Jack has been tortured but

Oh i loved this book! It was non stop the whole way through and there were so many twists. Jack is such a hard man, him and his twin brother Ken share such a strong bond and they have endured so much pain and suffering. Jack appears to be the harder man, where Ken is always trying to lighten the mood with his smile and jokes. Jack has no room for a woman in his life, he feels that he is just an emotionless killer who will rip your heart out first and ask questions later.... until Briony comes al ...more

So I've been really looking forward to this read, and I wasn't disappointed. Much. However, as always Feehan delivers a well paced story and a couple you have to love, I was left wanting a tad more.

OK so why i was a tad disappointed...I think after the last one, I was expecting more of a development with the plot around Peter Whitney, thinking that the GhostWalkers would uncover some more information on him and what he's up to, but that didn't really happen. Considering how many books there is i

Much better than the other 'Game' books as it had more action. I would have preferred a more kick-ass heroine. She was too much of a "white picket fence and babies" type of woman for my taste. This is great in real life but in my fiction, the heroine should be closer in experience and profession with the hero.

That said, I've enjoyed the series so far and the paranormal aspects aren't intruding. I do not like too much paranormal powers and such because it is the very normality, the human-ness of

When Jack goes on a mission with the GhostWalkers to rescue his brother he ends up captured by rebel forces. He is going to need all of his enhanced psychic skills to escape from his enemies before he suffers even more torture at their hands. When he first meets Briony he realises immediately that she is a GhostWalker with abilities very similar to his own but it soon becomes clear that she doesn't know much about her skills and how she obtained them. With their enemies closing in on them - want ...more

I have happily read the first seven Ghostwalker books. While really liking all of the books, Conspiracy Game is my ultimate favorite. It's followed closely by others but Jack and Briony are a great couple and this book just "does it" for me. I do know that my feelings for this entire series are heavily influenced by having listened to the audio versions after reading the series. I liked reading the books but I LOVED listening to them. The narrator of the series, Tom Stechshultie, does an amazing ...more

This series is very quickly becoming addictive. Ms. Feehan writes her characters complex and with such depth, it's hard not to become emotionally involved and the romance aspect clinches that involvement. Briony and Jack's relationship is equal parts tender and moving, yet still dangerous and exciting. The psychic aspect of the books are always interesting and made more so when intermingled with scientific fact - giving it believability. While the writing style itself is somewhat basic, the stor ...more

Conspiracy Game is the fourth book in the Ghostwalker series from Christine Feehan. Once again, reading the previous books in this series is not necessary, but for a more complete vision of the ongoing story and characters, I would recommend it. In this book the focus is on Jack Norton and Briony. Previous books in the series open in Lily Whitney’s house or in the lab, this one begins in the jungle where we find Jack captured in an enemy camp. The first chapter is very intense, so much so you fi ...more

A great story. I feel this series is growing up and every book is better! At the beginning I was always trying to find similarities with another fav series of mine "Psy-Changelings" by Nalini Singh but this series has its own peculiarities and I just love it.

Besides all those alpha heroes, always ready to defend their women, I like the women very much. They're strong and caring at the same time.

Great! I'm already on the next one!

OMG! This book was even better than the previous one and I loved the 3rd book.

What can I say? I have something for this traumatized heroes. I love it when they get through their problem and more than anything I love it when they are all male and brave, but when it comes to the heroines they get all charming and sweet.

I like this series a lot, although I really didn't enjoyed much the first 2 books.

This is the fourth book in the Ghost Walker series. Jack is a Ghost Walker and in the military. He was captured while getting his brother away from the bad guy. He is being tortured by the same men. He escapes and eventaully gets away after killing a bunch of the bad guys. He is hurt and not far from the town. Then he senses another Ghost Walker. It's a woman, Briony. He knows her brother. They were in the army together. She gets him to her room and takes care of his wounds. They have an attract ...more

First thing Christine Feehan has to stop with the womb clenching business! Womb clenching is a nice way to say uterus contractions. Any woman who has pushed a baby out of her body is not going to get all hot and sexy bothered about having contractions- they're not fun. Stomach cramps, period cramps- you know that's your womb clenching- so not sexy. Take a midol and get over it.

“He pulled away abruptly - self-preservation required it - and pressed his brow to hers, breathing deep. "You remember one thing. You decide you want to get married, it's going to be me."

Briony watched him stalk outside, slamming the kitchen door behind him. Both eyebrows raised, she turned to Ken.

Close your mouth, honey. That's just Jack trying to be romantic and failing miserably. Don't let him get away with that shit either. If he's going to ask you, make him do it all they way. You know - down on one knee, looking stupid."

Briony nearly choked. "That's just mean, Ken."

He leaned close to her. "If you do it, Briony, tell me first so I can videotape it. I could blackmail him for the rest of his life.”

“You just like to piss me off,” Jack said.
“Well, there’s that. On the other hand, we’ll find out really fast just how much of a bastard you’re going to be to live with—with your woman around. You get out of line, and I’ll have to take you out behind the barn.”
“We don’t have a barn.”
“I told you we needed a barn, damn it,” Ken said. “You had to have a shop. It doesn’t sound the same saying I’m taking you out behind the shop.”
