I really, really enjoyed this book! It's my favorite in the series so far, and Jack is just too yummy for words. :)
Jack was a very dark and tortured hero. A true "killing machine", he really didn't feel any remorse for the lives he took. None whatsoever. Anyone who dared to threaten him, someone he loved or something he believed in, deserved to die. It was that simple. He had a code of honor of his own, one that hardly anyone understood. People respected him, but no one lik More...

This book rocked my world. which is why I made myself put it down after four am to go to bed. When I woke up this morning, I immediately reached for it to pick up where I left off. Jack is a hero after my heart. I love the dangerous, gamma heroes, and I liked that he did worry that he was too dangerous and too intense to be with a woman. But when it came to Briony and his unborn babies, he's a marshmallow but will kill or die for them. The relationship between Jack and his twin Ken was reall

Another great addition to Christine Feehan’s Ghostwalker Series and once again – I LOVED IT! I can’t think of another series that I have enjoyed as much as this one. This is book #4 and as yet, I don’t have a favorite. Still loving them all!

I have happily read the first seven Ghostwalker books. While really liking all of the books, Conspiracy Game is my ultimate favorite. It's followed closely by others but Jack and Briony are a great couple and this book just "does it" for me. I do know that my feelings for this entire series are heavily influenced by having listened to the audio versions after reading the series. I liked reading the books but I LOVED listening to them. The narrator of the series, Tom Stechshultie, does

This book takes place in two totally different places. It starts in Africa and ends up in Montana. It's about half and half for both places. This is also a series of books by Christine Feehan. This is the second book I've read in The GhostWalker series. They don't have to read in order they can stand alone. This book grabbed me from page 1. Jack is in the jungle hiding from the rebels. What rebels and what jungle? He's in the Congo jungle and trying to take out as many rebels as he can. They too

Oh i loved this book! It was non stop the whole way through and there were so many twists. Jack is such a hard man, him and his twin brother Ken share such a strong bond and they have endured so much pain and suffering. Jack appears to be the harder man, where Ken is always trying to lighten the mood with his smile and jokes. Jack has no room for a woman in his life, he feels that he is just an emotionless killer who will rip your heart out first and ask questions later.... until Briony comes al

Conspiracy Game is one of my top three favorite books in this series and feels the most cohesive to me of all of them. The plotting is tight, the Info Dump is more informative than it is in other books, the characters are believable in their drama and in their emotions, and the complexity of the story takes on new dimensions in this installment. I highly recommend reading this book and then the next one, Deadly Game, one after the other, as they are about a set of twins, Jack and Ken Norton, and

Oh I just love Christine Feehans series about her GhostWalkers!
Dr Whitley started experimenting on very young children, female children he bought from orphanages, to try to enhance latent talents, like telepathy, extraordinary smell and sight.
When the government got on his track, he adopted them out and covertly started with soldiers. But his plan is bigger. He wants to create a super soldier worthy the name, so his bigger goal is to get his hand of an offspring of two enhance More...

I think this book is my favorite of the series. Jack is a hard man, but he does have a code that he lives by. He is haunted by things that happened in his past that definately color how he views relationships with women. Briony is able to sneak past those issues. While at first glance she seems like a fluff ball, she does have a inner strength that everyone including her family misses.
What I really like about this book is how it is now a given within the Ghostwalkers that Peter More...

Great Book! This is #4 in the GhostWalker series & I think its my fav so far. Jack is a GhostWalker who has been enhanced his entire life (with twin Ken). Briony is one of the girls Dr Whitney has experimented on. Jack is a killing machine, doesn't think he deserves love & plans to never have it. Briony has always felt loved but never fit in with her family. What I like about this book is Briony is not some super woman. She is a normal woman who can do some super things. She is afraid & makes he

Ok I think I finished crying this book was the best so far I loved every little thing from the story to the great Characters. The story was so emotional I was crying for most of the book and when I was not crying I was laughing I love how well Ken and Briony seem to become family within minutes. Briony has always being so strong she lives in content pain because she can’t shield herself from people’s feelings or energy and with four dominating brothers she is well able for a dominating man lik

Also Teil 4 vom Bund der Schattengänger.

I loved, loved, loved this book. My favorite by far of this series. Interesting premise, interesting hero, interesting heroine. I found Jack, the sniper twin, to be very intriguing, and loved how he loved, lost and found Briony again, and how he struggled with his past and came to terms with it through her. She was a brave, strong character, even though she was soft and feminine, she wasn't weak. The fact she was a trapeze artist was unique. I liked that she loved her family, even though they we

When Jack goes on a mission with the GhostWalkers to rescue his brother he ends up captured by rebel forces. He is going to need all of his enhanced psychic skills to escape from his enemies before he suffers even more torture at their hands. When he first meets Briony he realises immediately that she is a GhostWalker with abilities very similar to his own but it soon becomes clear that she doesn't know much about her skills and how she obtained them. With their enemies closing in on them - w

Book #4 in GhostWalker series and when Jack Norton meets Briony things get hot fast. Both have similar powers. Nice book. Lots of action, dash of suspense with well developed characters that turn from horrible to really nice by the end of the book.

Conspiracy Game was nothing but spectacular and like nothing i've read before. It was Thrilling, Captivating, and Sexy. I didn't read the back, I didn't want to know who the characters would be until I read it. And whoa, I was so surprised!
The last person I expected to be reading about was Jack Norton and his twin brother Ken. They were not on Rylands team and that threw me for a loop. A wild and exciting loop at that. Also, this story began very diffrent from the previous books and More...

Briony works with her adopted brothers as a circus performer. As she is psychic she finds it hard to deal with that many people but she deals for the love of her family.
Jack Norton is a ghostwalker, rescuing his brother he finds himself having to accept Briony's help and then finds himself in bed with her.
She finds herself pregnant and pursued by another genetically altered man who wants her too. She has to turn to Jack for help.

Conspiracy Game is book 4 in Christine Feehan's Ghostwalker Series - books about a group of physically and psychically enhanced soldiers. Twin brothers Jack and Ken Norton are Ghostwalkers. When Ken is captured while on assignment in Africa, Jack leads a team in on a rescue mission. Both men are brutally tortured by their captors, but Jack manages to get Ken to safety before being captured himself. While trying to escape, Jack discovers that an old friend and ex-Navy Seal is in Africa performing

Conspiracy Game is the Ghostwalker story of Briony and Jack.
The first time I read the back cover of this book, I was totally bummed. Who cares about Jack? He’s just another military badass that just so happens to NOT be any of the other yummy male characters who have been introduced into this series.
Nonetheless, Christine Feehan did write this novel and it is a piece of one of my all time favorite series ever. A must read!

4 1/2 stars
from my journal entry at BookCrossing:
I really enjoyed this book! Once I began reading it, I found out that it was part of a series, and not the first book. That was OK, I managed to understand what was happening though when I do read the ones before, they'll feel a little 'funny' since I know things already. :)

This is my favorite of the Ghostwalker books so far. It's Jack Norton and Briony's story. Both are genetically enhanced--Jack is military and Briony is a circus performer who has no idea why she's so different until she meets Jack. The book is such a wonderful blend of the mundane and the exceptional. People with physical and psychic traits that make them different from everyone else in the world trying to deal with an unexpected pregnancy while also trying to stay out of the hands of the ma

“Conspiracy Game” is the book that, for me, changed the Ghostwalker series from an occasional library rental, to a must-own set of books. In this fourth installment, we shift gears away from our original Ghostwalker unit, to focus on one of the SEAL Ghostwalkers, Jack Norton. We met him very briefly in Night Game, but here his story is fleshed out.
The book opens with Jack held prisoner in the Congo. He was taken captive during a rescue mission for his twin brother Ken. Jack has be More...

Much better than the other 'Game' books as it had more action. I would have preferred a more kick-ass heroine. She was too much of a "white picket fence and babies" type of woman for my taste. This is great in real life but in my fiction, the heroine should be closer in experience and profession with the hero.
That said, I've enjoyed the series so far and the paranormal aspects are intruding. I do not like too much paranormal powers and such because it is the very normality, More...

I couldn't put this book down. This book actually was a grab and go from the library since it was close to closing time and I needed a book. I found it engrossing from the first page and imagine my surprise when I discovered it was one of a series. The day I finished the Conspiracy Game I took it back to the library and checked out the other books that they carried in this series (they only had 3 others so I will now be hunting for all of them!) Definitely would recommend this book.

I have to admit that I am a total fan of the GhostWalkers. Completely captivated by them. This one is no exception. The difference between this installment and the previous three is that while Ryland, Nico and Gator suffer from what was done to them by Dr. Whitney, Jack and his twin brother Ken's wounds go much farther back than that. And it is these wounds that must be overcome, all while protecting themselves from an increasingly deranged Whitney. A very good addition to the series.
