Thoroughly enjoyed this little novella. I had read another of the Drake sisters books, but felt like I stepped into the series in the middle. So this was a chance to see the series from the beginning. I really liked that Sarah was in security and was a strong woman but very caring of family and friends. Too often strong women are portrayed as hard instead of capable.

I did enjoy this book but found it so lacking and such a short story. I read a review somewhere which the reader described the book as 'published quickly due to publishers due date' or something along those lines and sadly I would have to agree.
I love Ms Feehan's Dark Series and Ghostwalkers series but this was no way up to her standards and found the story although lovely too short and rushed.

I love this series, but this is the first book (I read them out of order) and I don't recommend all of the books in a series (the lists would be too long!). This book would receive much higher marks if it was longer; it is only 90 or so pages long. I loved the idea and the books that follow are super! Fun only!

This re-issue was originally published as a short story. I normally don't like short stories as they don't have enough depth to them for my tastes, but wanted to read it as it was the genesis of a several book series.

I enjoy the paranormal fantasy romance in this series of books. However, I must warn you that author should definitely be considered "R" rated. If you get offended by sexual content, definitely avoid these books!

#1 in the Drake Sister's series and it is a very short book. This story was repackaged and included in "Lover Beware," too. I didn't care for either main character and this story was too slow for my taste.

Only 100 pages, and is an entro to the Drake series. Not the best one of the stories. Christine Feehan's writing reminds me of Nora Roberts. I recomend this series to anyone who reads Nora Roberts.

I really enjoyed this little paranormal romance....alot. I really like Feehan's writing style, and would love to read more about the seven sisters especially. Will have to look for "Oceans of Fire".

I loved this twist on family of witches. Seven sisters concept was interesting. I'm a sucker for trilogies so on to the next book.

This very short book is about the first of the Drake sisters and was a very good romance. Not really erotic but a nice romance.

good story but the writing doesn't draw me in enough to stay with the story.

This book is short, but it was a good first book to a series.
