Us mom's know we've been asked, "what do you do all day?" This book is a fun and lighthearted look at motherhood...it's trials and special moments. It's a collection of short stories from several authors including Ally Condie. It was a fun read and many times I could relate to the stories and laughed outloud and even shed some tears. I'm so thankful I am a mom!!! :)
This book was so good it made me want to put it down...and play with my kids. It's a collection of essays by moms about being a mom. They're all pretty short and they were perfect to read one or two at a time when I needed a lift or encouragement in a poopy diaper day.
This is a hot off the press great book, especially for this time of my life. It's a compilation of essays from mom's and their experiences in raising children. It was a good reminder of what a blessing it is to be and have mothers. I liked that the essays were short enough to read within a short amount of time (perfect for breastfeeding time or life with a toddler).
I picked this book up simply because of the author's last name (my maiden name is Condie). I made it about a quarter of the way through this book and then it was due back at the library. It's full of essays by mothers on the joys and blessings of motherhood.
Saw this at the library again and grabbed it to finish it. More like 3.5 stars but I rounded up.

The library did not have this book so I emailed a requet for them to buy it. I did not even know you could do that!! The next day I got an email back that it had been ordered. It said to give it two weeks and check to see if it was in. I just did and they do have it now! Just put a hold on it and cant wait to read it!
It's always nice to know I'm not alone in the trials of motherhood. I loved the variety of stories and the different perspectives and bits of wisdom each essay provided. It was a fun opportunity to write one of the essays! :) Mine was called Adopting Motherhood.
I enjoyed this book. At times I laughed, at times I was frustrated at what some of the moms were going through and many times I could relate to what the moms were going through. I felt understood....and I learned some things while reading this book.
I loved this book. I really related to many of the women's struggles in it. It's nice to be reminded I'm not the only one. It left me feeling happy and calm about being a mother. Wonderful Job Anna!
I love reading this! It just makes you feel good about what you're doing as a mom. It's real life stories that you can relate to and say "ok, so other people feel that way, too" :)
I loved reading the experiences of other moms, and loved contributing to this book of essays. My essay is "Accidents Happen" about potty training.
A cute book and fast read. It had some good mom survival stories. My sister-in-law wrote one of the chapters, so I have to put in a plug for her.
My friend Brook Davis Andreoli had a short article/story published in it. It was a quick read with cute stories that all mom's can relate to.
nice, short pieces from honest moms. was surprised to find an essay in here by a mom I knew in NY! a good read all around.
My children are pretty much raised but i enjoyed a cruise down memory lane reading these delightful stories on motherhood.
This book helped me evaluate my life without being preachy.
