This book was damn erotic. How Lacey can cram so many different kinds of erotic naughtiness into one book is beyond me......well I understand it has a lot to do with minimal storyline and maximum naked, body bumping, but still – there is just so damn much of it.

Once again, Lacey Alexander brings mystery, intrigue and of course, let's not forget total corruption of the naive and innocent heroine. And of-course, I enjoyed every second of the corrupting :-)

This book is very hot in the sex stakes. My rating is based on how well written the (multiple) sex scenes are in this book. It is very thin on plot but if you like some plot with your sex then French Quarter more than suffices.

Maybe it was just me, but this book seemed LONG. Hot - yes. Great fantasies - yes. Worth the read - yes. But...I still would have cut at least 25% of this book out. Some of the scenes didn't need to be in there. Just when I thought the book should be wrapping it up, we'd go on to the next scenario. It was as if this author wants to see how many scenarios she can possibly fit into one book, just stopping shy of the point where it's forced to be split into two books.

I'm not sure how to rate this. I have always considered Lacey Alexander (and Karen Erickson) my guilty pleasures. But this is one of those books that I feel had too much of a good thing. I finished reading this last night but due to exhaustion I wasn't able to review it right away. So, another 5-star spicy novel from Ms Alexander, I loved how she writes everything and sets the scene. Take the French Quarter, where most of the people are uninhibited when it comes to sex, she doesn't write the characters like fish out of water, but she adjusts them and molds them to match the setting.

Lacey Alexander is amazing! So many times erotica novels come off like porn movies to me, no plot, just lots of hot and heavy sex. Which has it's time and place, but I like a story with my sex! As my first book exploring this genre, I went with one that was a) free on Kindle, and b) decently reviewed. While this book has a few flaws (the ex-fiance storyline was a bit weak, and some of the dialogue could have been better), the good far out-weighed the bad in my estimation.
