When I first saw a picture of this cover, I had now idea it was a suspense story, I thought it was another cute romance. So when I actually saw the book trailer, I was surprised. The book looked so good I had to give it a try, even though scary stories aren't my favorite. (Plus, there was a promise of romance, so I knew it had to have something I'd like!)
I ended up loving it! It was a quick read that kept me up-(in a good way wanting to read more, not in an 'I'm so scared' kind of way) and it wa
Well how do I put this nicely..Oh Yeah! This book SUCKED!
So here goes. Trinity can dream walk. She helps catch a killer after dreaming about her friend’s death or something. Now the killer is after her. She obviously escapes him. Story over.
Okay Am I being to harsh?
Well I do like Trinity’s friendship with her bff Coral. They are like

Recommends it for: Hopeless romantics, dream enthusiasts
COVER -- It is cute and simply showing a clothing for sleeping which is the main topic in this book.

CONTENT -- have you ever wondered if dreams are real? If you have dreamed about someone someone, would he or she be dreaming about you too at the same time and moment you do? Would dreams somehow be interconnected with reality? All of these are true in Trinity Michaels' world. She has the ability to sleepwalk through dreams that led her to solve a kidnapping case which also made her run for her li
OK when I looked at the cover of this book I was thinking this would be a cute romance (which it does have a lot!) NOT a paranormal/suspense book.

Trin: A awesome character, very cute and tough. I have to say I liked her very much.

Dan: HOT, and oh-so swoon-worthy, awesome!!! Oh and HOT.

Rafe: I would never want to be in Trin's position, this guy is a crazy psychopath!!! *shudders*

I have one complaint about this book. WHAT IS UP WITH THE COVER?
I mean, really? She can dream walk! An

Dreaming, for sure, is some section in our mind, we don't know all about. That's why it makes dreaming to become really interesting and ... sometimes even kind of supernatural.

I've never regret buying this book. Even if the summary doesn't seem to be thrilling, the story will get you hooked up on it. Trinity is not the average girl and some different kind of character with some extraordinary skills and that makes it interesting. Towards the end you get totally thrilled about the story. Terri's
It's a sweet dream or a not-so beautiful nightmare...from the author with all the comedic, heartwarming lines - Terri Clark - comes a story of a girl whose dreams are just left of wacky...because they come true. But maybe just this once she'll have to be open to the idea that they're there for a reason, and use them to bring Rafe, the murderous criminal, to justice. Whilst enjoying her summer, buying a new dress and finding a boyfriend of course.

But hey - a girl can multitask, can't she?!

Woaah that was some ride. It's almost 5 in the morning and the title sleepless definitely reverberates what I am currently experiencing. Who knew a book's title can say soo much?!!

First of, don't judge this book by its girly pink pj's cover! It has more to offer than say sappy summer predictable romance...

A must read!! It's got romance and suspense well rolled into one ;-))
Cover is really misleading! Spolier: Sleepless is surprisingly a good suspense story. It's an actual page-turner and worth a reader's time.
i really liked this book, she was really funny in her converastions. And it's nice to read something nice and fast that you enjoy:)
i liked this, even though the whole dream idea sounded kinda stupid in the beginning, i really started to like it.

This book combines everything you want in a book; romance, thrill, and mystery!
That was AMAZING!!Loved it!!
I’ve been obsessing over reading this and I was so excited when I was finally able to get my hands on a copy. Unfortunately, this was pretty terrible. I think this is another example of a book that would’ve been better if someone else had written it. I don’t like being mean, but this book was boring and mediocre the entire way through. It’s sad because it started off really good. I loved the opening scene with Trinity and Coral. Their dynamic had me laughing and it set a tone for the book that m ...more
Terri Clark's debut young adult novel is a fast-paced, thrilling read.

Trinity Michaels has the ability to dream walk. It is ability that she doesn't want as it often leads to her seeing the darker side of people and their secrets. The worst by far was dreaming of Kiri the day after her parents reported her missing. Trinity was able to help the police find her but it was too late - she had already been murdered. Her killer, Rafe Stevens, was sent to a mental institution instead of jail. Now Rafe

Trinity's dreams are not her own. People come to Trinity while she sleeps and they tell her things she'd rather not know. Lucid dreaming they call it, but as far as Trinity's concerned it's a nightmare. She's tried to keep her so-called “ability” to herself. Her mother's known about it since Trinity was a child, but not even her best-friend knows the truth.

Trinity has always tried to hide from the knowledge she gets in her dreams, but when a murdered girl comes to her for help, Trinity can't bac
Yeah, I read a paperback novel. I'm still trying to get over it.
I don't read many trade paperback fiction (PBF) books because they tend irritate me. This book suffered many of the same problems I find in most PBFs: ridiculously-fast (like, unbelievably so) pacing, lack of character development because you have to get the people to the end in 300 small pages, silly use of language and poor sentence construction, and other such maladies. However, this particular story had the one redeeming quality

Trinity always has lucid dreams, and her dreams usually involve other people and their deepest, darkest secrets.

When a teen girl goes missing, Trinity dreams about her, and is able to tell the police exactly where to go. Unfortunately, by the time the police get there, the girl is already dead. But, they are able to catch her killer, Rafe.

Rafe claims insanity, and goes away to a mental institution. He escapes, and starts coming to Trinity in her dreams. T

Oh my goodness...SOO amazing! I've owned this book for like a over a year and i'm not even entirely positive why i bought it in the first place, but i bascially decided that i was probably never gonna read it. UNTIL...yesterday! The last 2 or 3 books i had read were teen mysteries, and i was kinda on a thriller-ish type book kick, and i didn't own any other mystery novels, so i figured that this was short and it might not be as bad as a think...i was RIGHT!!!

(now for my actual review)

Trinity is an 18 year old girl from South Beach who finds herself with the ability to 'dream walk', right into other peoples dreams. She considers this ability to be a curse, as she ends up knowing the deep dark secrets and private thoughts of those around her. Things really turn into a nightmare when she is unable to rescue a kidnapped classmate who makes a plea for help in one of Trinity's dreams. Soon, the kidnapper escapes a mental institution and the only place he can be found is within Tri ...more
I thought when picking this book at the library that it would be similair to many of the other Simon Pulse Romantic Comedies that I enjoy reading. In a couple of aspects it was and then it was nothing of the sort. This was an intriguing, unique, and disturbing little story.

Trinity started having dreams after her father passed away. At the age of nine she dreamt that her best friend was being abused by her mother. When she confided about this dream and proven it was correct the boy was confiscate
Trinty Micheals is able to walk throught dreams. She put away a murderer, Rafe as a pshychic and is known as "Dream Girl" after a leak. Kiri came to her about a year ago asking for help. Trinity's best friend Coral is going away for Soccor camp. Coral gives her a "homework assignment", she is suppose to buy a blue dress, go out more, and to go on a date.
Trinity meets Dan Devlin. He is the son of the defense lawyer that got Rafe off on insanity. Trinity's mother goes away to Europe on a long awa

My Review: Trinity has a ability. More like a curse actually. Whenever she sleeps she dreams about someone. To phrase it accurately she learns about people's deepest darkest secrets which she has no interest in. She wants to just have a normal life so when she is about to ignore her abilities a girl she met at Surf Camp comes in her dreams and tells her to save her Trinity has no choice but to do just that. Except she is late. The girl is dead. The killer Rafe was caught but after a year of this
So, after reading this book I went onto the website to look at the reviews. What was astounding that so many people had given this book really good reviews, so obviously anyone with any good taste in literature is not reading this book. Then again, anyone who would pick this book up in first place after seeing it's cover is obviously insane. But, seriously, HAVE YOU PEOPLE LOST YOUR MINDS?!?!?!?! Seriously, do NOT read this book, that is four (or so) hours of my life I will never get back. Altho ...more

SLEEPLESS is not your everyday piece of fluff. Those picking up SLEEPLESS thinking it's a typical teen summer romance will be quite surprised. I know I was! SLEEPLESS may just keep you up all night trying to avoid your dreams!

Okay, I admit it, there is romance in this book, but that's not all that it's about. There's far more action and suspense going on beyond the attraction between Trinity and Dan.

It's the beginning of July and Trinity's best friend, Co
Trinity is a very unique girl with the ability to dream walk. Trinity doesn’t view this as a blessing; rather, she sees it as a curse. Because of this so-called “skill,” Trinity has to deal with a whole mess of everyone’s deep dark secrets that she’d rather not know. This has only affected her negatively, causing her to grow up faster than she wants to and be reluctant to make friends, not to mention making her like a freak. But there’s only one real thing that makes it the most difficult for Tr ...more
Trinity Michaels isn’t your average eighteen year old. Actually she really hasn’t been normal since she first realized she had the ability to dream walk. While some think this may be a super cool power, Trinity believes it to be a curse and wants nothing to do with it.

Dream walking greatly affects Trinity’s life when she’s unable to save an abducted girl that she has been dreaming about. Although she is able to help the police capture the killer, Rafe Stevens, she is still deeply troubled by the
Where can I even begin about this book? It was really good. It was a quick read, it was quick to get into, and once I started reading it, I couldn't stop. I didn't want to put this down because I needed to know what happened to Trinity and Dan.

The characters were written pretty good. The one thing I would've liked more of was a bigger description of them, but the author gives you enough information to where you can picture them in your head.

There were also a few parts that were a bit hard to un
Amazing and thrilling!
Captivating and heart-beating!
I got hooked!

I regret reading this book now and not before.
This book is my sister's and I borrowed it from her.
It pulled me and refuse to let go!
I didn't take a long time to finish it because I kept thinking about it.

The romance was weird because falling in love with the son of someone you detest is not easy.
Perhaps charm IS important after all. :P
The suspense didn't kill me but it was well written.

The main character, Trinity, was easy to relat

This book is one of the books that shaped me as a reader years ago. It had a different style of writing and theme than I was used to at that age. I LOVED it! Terri Clark is amazing when you give her something to write with. Bravo on this book Terri.

Terri Clark feels blessed to demonstrate her passion for young adult fiction as both a teen librarian and author. For as long as she can remember she’s been fascinated with the paranormal, so it’s little wonder her stories dabble in the dark and different. Her next book, Hollyweird , will be released May 8, 2012 with Flux Books and you can currently read her in the Hunger Games related anthology T ...more
