A rather interesting collection of essays and articles interpreting Marx's theory of money.

At first, I thought to myself "What can one really say about money? Does it deserve a book on its own? Much less, one economist's views on it?!"

But I was pleasantly surprised! The big problem, of course, is how to reconcile Marx's theory of money as commodity with fiat money.

(Marx discusses fiat money somewhat in his Grundrisse, but not in Das Kapital)
