By the time I had finished the two books a couple years ago, my life had changed. I had done fairly well in math classes throughout school, and being inclined I curiously looked towards rigorous books to learn calculus from such as Spivak. Naturally I could hardly get past the first problem. I was so disheartened and frightened by the idea of actually being challenged by a problem!
