This was a little weird for a Maddox book-- kids playing paintball in a woods, other kids run them off (whose woods are they?) then engage them in a competition and decide they can all play together. Odd.

For readers who enjoy sports and want to help their reading level, this is a nice series to try them out on. Filled with nice illustrations and written in a easy-to-understand writing style, the reader will love reading about two boys who find themselves defending their paintball territory from the invading high school guys. A wonderful book that should grab young boys attention!

I thought Paintball Invasion was a good book because I like paintball and it showed the way little kids can stand up to big kids

Part of the Jake Maddox series, this might be a good fit for an easy reader boy that likes adventure type stuff. I wasn't impressed with its literary quality..
