Furever Loyal

Rate this book
When a wolf shifter motorcycle club disturbs the quiet of her forest with their illegal activities, curvy bear shifter Cara Bruin vows to get rid of them. All of them, even the one whose burning hot eyes awaken her most feral desires. Because the sister of the chief of the Northern California bears has nothing in common with some mongrel wolf shifter, no matter how much her bear craves him. Val Stanton dislikes the drug business his pack has gotten into. But a wolf’s got to follow his alpha, right? Or so he believes, until the scornful gaze of a certain bear shifter makes him question everything — including pack loyalty. What Val knows for certain is he’ll never let any harm come to Cara, not even if he has to challenge the pack alpha himself to protect her. A steamy standalone BBW romance for readers 18+, Furever Loyal contains explicit love scenes and graphic language. #4 in the Furever Shifters series. 42,000 words, or about 160 pages.

This was my first book by this author and I was not disappointed.
Even this is series; I was able to follow what was happening. The series is about House Ursa; bear shifters; but each book is about one couple. Still I am missing some of the details about other characters, so book 1 is next to be read.
Kincaid and Haley were great, both of them. I liked Haley and her determination to follow the rules and especially that she did not swoon when she met Kincaid. There was a lot of chemistry and hotness, but I liked that Kincaid need to work for Haley to trust him and be with him.
Be warned that mystery is not solved in book 2; so looking forward for next book and next couple.

cara bruin is upset when she finds out a group of shifters is residing in "her" forest and she vows to get rid of them and their dirty business. what she didn't count on was Val and the pull he had on her. her bear is antsy and is urging her to go after val and claim him for their own. there are but a few issues.
1 he's from the pack of shifters
2 he's a wolf, she's a bear!
3 his pack is a nasty bunch
4 did she mention he's a wolf? and drop dead gorgeous too?
val feels the attraction too but know he can't act on it. his pack is nasty, no two ways about it and every female that is brought in is up for anyone whose willing, which is mostly everyone! but things aren't going well. their alpha staying gone for too long, others acting as if they're in charge. other members are using the drugs themselves, that doesn't make things easier, he's one of the few, if not only one, who doesn't use and sees what is happening.
when he runs into cara in town, he noticed her, he's even more pissed at her for even daring to touch his ride! but when he sees her out of town he doesn't hesitate to help her out when her car is broken down. feeling her near him makes his wolf go all crazy inside of his head.

these two have big battles to fight before either or both will come out the victor in this story. things aren't always as easy as they should be but fate is fate, there is way around what she plans and when she plans.... well just pick up a copy and read for yourself!
another nice story in this series as cara battles with her emotions and her desire.

I received a free copy for my honest review.

Cara is the sister of Bear from the first book. She hasn't had much luck finding her mate yet and is thinking more about it after her brother got married. The Park Ranger of the woods she likes the living in the quiet of her woods. Well until she gets new neighbours.
Val is a wolf biker whose pack just moved and is dealing drugs more freely. He is also having second thoughts about following his pack alpha.
Bear and Wolf shifter can they go together? Can they get past there differences and make it work?
I got engrossed with the story from the beginning. The heartache of Cara and Val thinking they can't be together and what's happens hooks you right in. I can't wait to read more of these books.
