Ok, things in this volume definitely take a turn for the creepy. The reader gets some more back story on Ruka and also on Lucia!! (*SQUEE!*) Can you tell I've been waiting for that part???? Plus the connection between Lola and Layla is also revealed!

This one is divided up nicely between the bad guys’ pov and the good. It begins with the bad as Sonoka’s minions strive to get more power to kill Lucia and Sumire. Ruka is granted more of the fragments (the things they pull out of the souls of people who can see the supernatural viruses) after we get to see how she became what she is and ended up enslaved to Sonoka.
