I am reading this book right now and am around the middle of the book. This is a great book and it really touches the heart. I didn't cry or anything, but it seemed like I should have. I know people other than myself would have.

I gave Gemini Summer a five stars, because I thought this book showed the true meaning of family and how they are so very important to everyone! I loved how this book is full of adventure and includes a dog! The dog, Rocket, has so much character it’s unreal! I love books that include dogs and any book that has adventure! This was a great book. I wasn't expecting to like it very much because it's a book about brothers, a dog (I love dogs but I don't like reading about them), and an interest in space exploration.
The story was incredibly moving, and I love the impact of the dog on the main character, even though it's not really a story about the dog.

I almost abandoned this book at the beginning, it was a bit hard to get into.... but then... I was so glad that I read it. It's a book that left me sobbing... Great story.

I did not think I would like this book that much but I really ended up enjoying it. It was very touching and made me tear up many times. I have not read many books with this historical background but it was really the family relationship and tragedy they went through that got me liking this book. I liked this book allot it made me cry 6 times. It made me think about how I treat my brothers it really makes you think again before you call your brother a name or anything like that. I recommend it to anybody any age.
